I’m Captain Bas (or Sebastian), born in Amsterdam with a Master’s in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam. After a long career in IT Sales, life took a turn due to an accident. 

It led me to follow my passion: sailing, meeting people, and sharing the stories of my city with a smile 😃.

With humor and enthusiasm, I aim to surprise even born-and-bred Amsterdammers with new facts about our beautiful city. So far, I’ve been quite successful — and I love every moment of it 👍!
